Refund policy

We want you to be happy with your new bed or mattress. This policy explains what you can return, when, and how. It does not affect your statutory rights.

Faulty or damaged goods

If something arrives damaged or develops a fault, contact us straight away. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 you're entitled to a repair, replacement or refund for goods that are faulty, not as described or not fit for purpose.

Please note any visible damage on the delivery note before our driver leaves. For damage found after unpacking, contact us within 48 hours with photos.

Mattresses

For hygiene reasons, opened or used mattresses cannot be returned unless they are faulty.

A new mattress needs time to settle. Allow up to 30 nights for your body to adjust to it and for the fillings to settle. Some settlement, or body impressions forming where you lie, is normal and is not a fault. See our Terms of Service for care advice.

Made to order

Everything we sell is made to order in the size, fabric, colour or finish you choose. Because of this:

  • If you cancel an order after it has been placed, a 50% cancellation charge applies.
  • Items that are not faulty can only be returned by agreement, and a 50% restocking charge applies.
  • For orders placed by phone, email or online, the 14-day cancellation period under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply to goods made to your specification.

None of this affects your rights if an item is faulty.

Items that don't fit your property

It's your responsibility to check that the items you order will fit through all access points, such as doorways and stairwells. iDeal Beds is not liable if an item does not fit, and no refund will be given.

How refunds are made

Approved refunds are made using the original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods or agreeing the refund.
